In the five years since Matt Shane came to New York City, he has quickly become one of the most sought after engineers on the NYC music scene. Clients include artists such as Elvis Costello, Rosanne Cash, Dashboard Confessional, Shawn Colvin, Michelle Branch, Robbers on High Street, Leyode, John Garrison, Ernest Ranglin, Burning Spear, and producers such as John Leventhal, Daniel Lanois, Mickey Petralia, Rick Depofi, and Danny Kortchmar. He recently won a Grammy for engineering the Flight of the Conchords’ debut album, as well as all the music for their critically acclaimed HBO series with producer, Mickey Petralia.
